General Terms and Conditions (GTC)

  1. General Provisions
    1.1. These general terms and conditions form the basis of all business relationships with Leonardo Kassai. By placing an order, the client acknowledges having read and accepted them.

  2. Prices and Payment Terms
    2.1. The price specified in the order confirmation is exclusive of statutory VAT. No additional costs apply unless explicitly stated (e.g., travel expenses).
    2.2. The payment is due upon delivery of the finished film and is payable without any deductions.
    2.3. If the order extends over a longer period or requires financial pre-financing by Leonardo Kassai, appropriate advance payments must be made. These will be individually agreed upon.

  1. Creative Freedom and Modifications
    3.1. Within the scope of the order, there is creative freedom. Complaints regarding artistic design or technical implementation must be submitted promptly and in full during the production process.
    3.2. After the production process, the client will receive a draft version. After receiving the draft, the client has the opportunity to submit change requests within 14 days. After the 14-day period and following the acceptance of the final product, further modifications will only be possible for an additional and reasonable fee.

  1. Deadlines
    Agreed deadlines for filming that are not canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled time will be invoiced.

  1. Copyright and Usage Rights
    5.1. The copyright to all services provided remains with Leonardo Kassai.
    5.2. The client is granted unlimited, time-limited usage and exploitation rights. This includes public screenings (also on the internet) as well as the free distribution of the created video to customers.
    5.3. Unless explicitly discussed and agreed upon in writing (via post, email, or fax), the client may use the film created for them freely, excluding TV, radio, and cinema broadcasts.
    5.4. If the client wishes for TV, radio, or cinema broadcasts, a separate approval is required, which may involve an additional charge.
    5.5. The usage rights are transferred to the client only after full payment of the fee.
    5.6. Leonardo Kassai is, by mutual agreement with the client, entitled to use all produced visual and audio materials for demonstration purposes and self-promotion.
